....summer time that is.


We had a pretty heavy frost this AM in the creek bottom, 34F here.....I packed up all the patio furniture and put plants into the basement and sun room ......dragged out my long jeans and sweat shirts ....and the final insult...I just turned on the furnace! Yeh- but you're from Wuss country...Even our plants are tougher up here- as even tho we've had several hard freezes (down in the low 20's) and a foot of snow (all melted now) the volunteer wheat is still growing- as well as the grass in the creek bottoms- and I found several dandelions blooming the other day Shocked Wink Laughing Razz Razz

Dang......I don't want none of that!!!!! I have however pulled a jacket out and carried it with me for those long into the night barrel races. And early mornin climbin on the tractor. But by 9 am or so....I'm shuckin it. It was HOT here today.
