A Use for the Crib!

Postby burnt » Sun Mar 08, 2015 3:35 pm

We are happy to announce that the crib that the family built is going to be put to use! Our first grandchild arrived safely this morning, 4 days before due date.

Sparkle (cuz that describes our daughter-in-law's personality) went into labor at about midnight and gave birth at 4 AM to Mark Daniel who weighed in 9 pounds 2 oz. Not bad for a first baby!

And thankfully, everyone is well now. Grandma will be busy sewing his Daddy buttons back on! And Grandpa will be showing him how to rope tomorrow.

Okay, I was being truthful until the last part. I know, you knew that...

It's a good day!

I'm betting Mark Daniel will sleep like a baby in the nice crib. :D

Congratulations all around. Lucky little fella to have a big loving family! We'll want pictures of him in his crib!
