Postby flyingS » Sun Apr 10, 2011 12:29 pm

Here is the pedigree on the filly we purchased. http://www.allbreedpedigree.com/big+bean+cash
We are looking forward to seeing her next week. It will be exciting to see what we can do with her. I'll try to post some pictures.

I have to be honest, I haven't even seen her yet. She did make it to Nebraska last weekend. Once the weather straightens up we are going to go take a look and get some pictures.

A horse is wormed on a 100lbs scale and dog is wormed on a 10lbs scale. My vet has okayed the use of horse wormer for my dogs. but you give the 100 lb dog the same as you would a 1000 lb horse. i have used ivemic, safegaurd, zimectrin and others for my dogs with no problem

Here are the pictures I promised last spring. These were taken after Christmas so she is pretty haired up. My partner just has her running out with some other brood mares so she is not getting any preferencial treatment.

She has the build to make a cow pony-is she a roan or a rabicano.

NR, I would call her roan, but I have to be honest for fear of looking dumber than I already do, I don't know the difference. I had never heard of a rabicano, until I saw it on here.

Here is a page explaining the differences. She looks like my Holly which I call her a rabicano due to the skunk tail and small amount of white.

Yes it says Morgan...but it happens in other breeds.
I learned about it with holly so its not well known...

I am hope not to offend anyone but after looking at MsSage's link it looks to me like a rabicano has a bit of appy in their background.
