Sunday my daughter, cousin and I went to a horse show. Daughter took 2nd place in the walk trot. Cousin took two 2nds and a 1st in the Hunter cross rails, 2' and 2'3" classes and I took one 4th, two 3rds and a 2nd place in Hunter 2', 2'3" 2'6" and 2'6" Hunter Medal class. We were pretty excited since this was the first show any of us have ever been entered into! Since DD's class was right away in the morning, she took most of the photos.

And a few shots of my mare and I.
And, I love how she looks in this last photo...
“Scientists tell us that the fastest animal on earth, with a top speed of 120 feet per second, is a cow that has been dropped out of a helicopter.”
AWESOME!!
Good luck to all of you in your future shows. Jumping is one fantastic event!
Congratulations to you all on placing at your first show! I'm sure this won't be your last!
There are two ways to be fooled. One is to believe what isn't true; the other is to refuse to believe what is true.
Thanks, FH, we are just getting started. Going to do a few in August too.
BM, the show was in Moose Jaw at Over the Top Equine Centre.
Lazy WP, I love the look too. It was a lot of work getting them all dressed up, but it was worth it. Although I thought it was a bit much to do for my daughter for 1 class, but Zee looked so awesome!
My horse, the chestnut mare, is a QH/Hanoverian, she loves to jump, but she is my main horse at home too, she sure can cut a cow too... Never seem to have the camera handy when we are doing that sort of thing though.
