That is what gives hunters a bad name. Some of them just never learn,
or they just don't care. So aggravating.
When we lived in Wyoming in the late 60's, early 70's, we had a pasture
that had no water in it, so a gate was always left open on one end or the
other so they could get out to go to water. There were some yearlings in
the pasture that belonged to the man we leased from...some hunters went through
and SHUT THE GATE. When someone checked on the yearlings, some had already thirsted to death.
Long time ago, but I never forgot about it.
