Problems with Wrangler shirts

Postby Faster horses » Fri Feb 03, 2017 12:59 pm

For years, Mr. FH has worn Wrangler Shirts with snaps. The last 3 shirts, all bought in December/January, have not been up to par. First one, the cuffs were too tight, so returned it for a different one that seemed fine. Washed in cold water, dried on delicate, SHRUNK BIG TIME. Then he got one for Christmas that was sized wrong....tail was too short, arms were too short. Then talked to a checker at Tractor Supply and she has had the same problem.

I think a call to Wrangler corporate is in order.......IF I can find a phone number. :???:

Try here https://www.wrangler.com/help/contact-us.html

I think some shirts are built over seas and some in USA. I have had problems with some shrinking and poor snaps and other have been fine.

Yeah. Right. Therein lies the problem. One shirt I paid extra for in order to get a long shirt-tail....took it home, cuffs were too small.

I did use the link you provided and sent them a complaint. Now we'll see. We have over $50 worth of worthless shirts here now. Actually more, but those were purchased in the last two months. :(

The shits I checked were all made in Bangladesh. The flannel shirt I have when I wash it I just put it in dryer for 10 minutes then take it out and dry it over back of chair. Worked so far.
I think Walmart Wranglers are different quality from western store Wrangler shirts.

I don't buy Wrangler shirts from Wal-Mart, nor anything else, if I can help it. I do have to go there from time-to-time. :(

I prefer to buy from a locally-owned Western store, but those are few and far between. These last 2 shirts came from Boot
Barn and they need the receipt. Well, I had the receipt when I took the one back with the cuffs that were too small, but the
next one fit (for one wearing) so I can't find the receipt. I'll keep looking. I lose more than I can keep track of. Love old age...... :?

Anyway, Pete's Clothing in Belle Fourche, SD is one of the last of the locally owned western stores. He has a wonderful little store.
I just thought of another one...A&J Supply in Whitewood, SD. That's a good one too.

Brian's Boot and Shoe in Sheridan is locally owned, too. It's footwear tho and I just  that store.

And of course, King's Saddlery. Still locally owned. They have most everything. We have been customers for 55 years. I think we
should get a medal for that. :D :D :D

Yes!! Be sure to stop in when you are there. Pete has had a bad round with cancer, but he came through it. Took quite awhile.
