Huntaway

Postby Rancher Rick one » Sun Mar 12, 2017 5:24 pm

i'm kinda revisiting an old thread from 2010. Recently I visited a friend who ranches not farfrom us & he has a Huntaway dog. We lost one one of our Border Collies back in the Fall & my wife thinks we should look into getting a Huntaway.
Problem is that I cant seem to find any breeders in Alberta & the guy that my friends got their dog from is no longer is breeding them.
If anybody can point us in the right direction it would most appreciated.
Thanks!
Rich

Seems to me Lloyd Thompson at Carnduff Sk had one at least. If Gcreek see's this maybe he has been talking to him.
Good luck I would like to see one.

Haven't talked to Lloyd in several years.

The OP could look at the Stock Dogs for Sale on Facebook. There are a few Huntaways there. Best I can tell you.
