I have rode a couple red roans so that pics bring back some good memories.
The roan gelding I had in high school and kept him in a barn in town for the winter. Couple of the boys around the barn liked to snatch your cap and pitch it into some horse manger and you had to go in and get it. One time the guy came into the box stall with me and the roan, the roan grabbed him by the arm and clamped down. The guys didn't bother me for the rest of the winter as they were afraid of my horse.
His sister the roan mare was the nicest horse to break that I have worked with. She was so independent that she never worried about leaving the herd.
Some neat shots there. VERY NEAT SHOTS! I didn't think much about mustangs one way or another until you started posting pictures of them here and now I am more than just a little interested in them.
