I know with calving season getting going, we at Dakota Weather Consultants are watching for the potential of a large winter storm next week that could push across the Plains from South Dakota into Northern Kansas and northeastward towards the Great Lakes, right now indications are for snowfall amounts in excess of 6inches for many locations.
