It's time for a new barn.

We installed buildings for many years, Coverall went under because of poor engineering on the larger buildings. We installed Sioux Steel buildings. Saw a lot of different buildings the best buildings are made by Winkler out of canada and sioux steel, there isn't much difference in the...

    Fabric Covered Buildings

We used to sell and install hoop buildings. The buildings are pretty good but it does depend on location, as far as wind. The single tube buildings, usually under 36' wide, I would not put up in an open area. They need to be installed where there is wind breaks, most are rated 80-90 wind load...

Sure sounds like white muscle disease. We are real low in selenium in Michigan, every calf gets a shot of Bo-Se. I've seen several that flop around like a fish, after a shot takes an hour or two and they're up.

    Timed breeding

We have used timed breeding the last few years. What protocol do you use? I think after doing this a few times I'm finding that the nutrition level of the cow is important, seems to work best if they have a few weeks of grass in them and a BCS of 5+. It also helps to have good disposition for...
