Denver Stock Show

Post by pups and bucks » Wed Oct 10, 2012 4:18 am

Thought about making it to Denver in Jan. does anybody know of a good
place to stay there that doesn't cost an arm and leg  and you don't have to sleep with a cocked pistol? :help: A good dance floor would be a plus. :)
thanks for any suggestions.

We always stay at the Marriot City Center. We go dureing the Angus events and if your a member they have really good rates, free shuttles to the colisieum which saves on a parking fee. I'd call them first and see what they are chargeing they lower the rates and alot of smaller places farther out raise them. We could stay there for the same money as a Days Inn 20 miles away the last time we checked prices.

In my day 1957/1958 the place to stay was the "Brown Derby" (is it still there?)

My old boss George Sanders from the Lucky Hereford Ranch (in Gilroy)(Lucky Lager Beer) was a JUDGE There.
He had a Box there - used it one night - then gave it to me for the week.
