That plant in Canton being shut down hurt us a bit... We had 300 tons of Distillers booked out of their to get when they opened, neighbor had close to 500 booked... Had to go scurrying to find a new supplier.

That stuff can stay away a few more months as far as I am concerned.. I'll be about ready for it mid January if we haven't gotten one by than.. Thanksgiving is about as early as I can remember getting significant snow here.

A lot of folks use wheat straw in TMR's around here or jsut fed free choice as some gut fill. More use corn stalks, either baled or standing in the field.. I know in the stalks there is a lot more nutrtion than people would think. A lot of folks I know would run them ons talks with a protein...

The biodisel plants are working on doing something with the, oh shoot can't remember if is gylcerine or gycerol or what but it is the waxy stuff that will cloud soydiesel, to use as a feed adative. Can't remember mucha bout what the article said.. What malt plant will have something, might be...

He is reffering to wet distillers grain.. When they make Ethanol there is a mash left over that is, oh say 33% Dry matter and 67% water Some places are wetter and others a bit drier. If they dry it this becomes DDG.. Otherwise it is WDG.. I am so looking forward to the plant openeing abou 5...

Generally from Corn based Ethanol production... Takes the startch and leave the protein, fat and minerals..

We are on vigortone pretty much year round (Assuming I make sure to pick it up at the elevator).. I think we run 3v5 during the summer and than 3v0 over the winter because we really don't need the phos.. The only think I worry about is mag in the spring.. When we were using a pelleted balancer...

Doe tags, as far as shotgun or gun in general are two but archery doe tags are unlimited.. Than there is also the late season tag here in Illinois if counties don't meet their harvest requirments.. Tehy never do.. I think there are also 1 or 2 tags giving to a land owner per 40 acres of ground...

All of our local hay is heading down towards Tennesse and points south and east.. I caled around and found some large square can hay but it was 168 dollars a ton and I just couldn't justify that.. Called antoher guy and he is bringing some in at 110 a ton which is still a bit much but we need it...

We don't but we have 8 dogs, lol.... I would check for a couple days but I would also reapply every month. I don't know how your environment is compared to here as far as tick density.. More ticks, more risk..

For the most part I agree.. MY free dogs are all pound dogs or rescues... 2 were free and one was 50 bucks but that included getting her spayed... Wife worked at a shelter and they gave her one of the dogs as a "gift".. Lol, the gift that keeps on giving, lol...

Frontline used to be listed as 3 months for fleas and the vets and such recommended if you had tick problems to apply every month. We have had success with it as long as we remember to put it on.. Better on the short hair dogs than long hair dogs, probably has something to do with less being wasted.
