So what causes high tailheads? I know it seems to be genetic, and I have heard it is more prevalent in early weaned calves. I know it is sure ugly, but what causes it?
I have used them the last 2 years and liked them. My experience was that if you put some distance between the cows and calves everyone stays quiet, but if the cows are allowed to be next to the calves they are the noisy ones that stir he calves up.
