    A quick visit.

I borrowed a neighbors horse one day last fall, and the dirty bugger bucked, reared back, and bashed 3 of my teeth back. I have kept them all so far, but they are "dead" and will never be right. You can't tell by looking, but it was sure no fun at the time. Of course those racket boxes you ride...

    A quick visit.

Just stopping in briefly to say hi to my old friends here. Lots of trying weather this year, but I think we might make green grass if we don't have any more snow storms. Greetings from NW SD. Tap

Stopped in to see Tap on a whim...

I am still kickin' Nicky. I knew the photos would make it here  so I thought I better have a look. Things have been happening pretty regular around here lately. We have been to auction sales, tubing at the ski slope, touring the Air Force base in Rapid City (got to get in a B-1 and "fly"...

Good looking sign OT. I made two signs for presents this Christmas. Still working on one of them.

    Greetings!

Hope everyone is having a good holiday so far. Been busy lately around here, but getting things done so that is good. Can you believe it is raining here at the moment? Can't remember that happening on Christmas Eve. I hope all of you have a good Christmas. No snow to sled on here, but I like...

Pan Phillips & Rich Hobson (Hobson books)

That would be great to get Pan's daughter here. Howdy George! Those are 3 of my all time favorite books for sure.

    Stoppin' in to say Hi.

Thanks everyone for the nice thoughts. I appreciate them. I will see if I can drop in a little more regular than I have. Have a Merry Christmas and a great New Year too.

    Stoppin' in to say Hi.

Looks like everyone is sound and healthy here on the boards. Things are slowing down for us here, but still have a few projects to do before the first of the year. As this place can be addictive, I slowed down on it some (if you haven't noticed ). Just for something to do with my photos, I...

Oh, Waldo is still kickin' - lol.

 Just hanging around enjoying life, TTB. Working, and running around seeing the sites some lately. And chasing the stray fire around the country. Had a bunch of them the other evening. Sorting some solid colored black cows off to put with the hereford bulls. Moving the rest to...

Interesting link on CY Carey. http://userpages.aug.com/bdobson/nplatte3.html Maybe the oldtimers weren't telling windies about 9 mos. of winter in the old days. :-)

The movie would be great to have. Let me know if you can do it. I assume you may know who I am. I thought you were your mother at first. Now you need to tell me if you are K,R, or M? There are 3 reasons that the ranch over there appeals to me. I like G. very well, I like working and looking...

    OK, I promise....

It has occured to me that I am way more interested in taking scenery pictures than people or cattle pictures. I like to take them too, but my interest mostly lays in the landscape. I do like to mix cattle/people and landscapes, as it enters into the history of this area.

Thank you very much JF Ranch. It is my pleasure. I promise that I will show you some better pictures of where they ran the buffalo over the edge. I am convinced that it happened that way, but of course I was not there. But we have found buffalo skulls at the foot of our dropoffs. We found a...

    Question for 4 wheeler people

Not to pick a fight with you Cal, but you must be very athletic. I would be pushin' daisies if I tried that.

We will talk about that.

If I am right, you must be a relative of my mothers???? Also, if I am right, if I got you a VHS tape could you make me a copy of the movie made over there when you were a kid? I have been wanting one since I saw the movie in grade school. Boy, a guy can't get away with anything here. :wink...

The last of the last branding pictures this year. :-) We went over to the Jumpoff for a cleanup branding real early this AM. The Jumpoff is a fault in the earth where the world drops off, and the Indians of earlier years used it to run buffalo over it and injure them enough to kill...
