    I've got a load of dry distillers coming next week $115 a ton cheaper than alfalfa this year but it is just for tha calves. I have a couple hundred bales of pea and oat hay that should tide the protein over for the cows.

    my neighbor feeds it on the ground and has about zero waste they lick the dirt clean to get every morsel of course the ground is frozen. Put it in a grinder mixer and feed it out the discharge auger.

    Storm is headed here have a broken water line digging it up with the skid steer in sand ground kept caving in on me have two sets of trailer ramps laid down to walk out on and have the problem found now to just repair it after lunch. A backhoe would be nice.

    We've got water on our place that flows all winter into the creek It's only a couple inches deep but I have only chopped ice about 10 days per winter as it freezes up another spot opens up.
