    Time for a new trailer

the reason it sat so low was the drop to the axels weather they are spring or torsion in the torsions you can order them about any angle you want, Tube axels are normally a 4" drop some older trailers were a 6" drop and over the wheel flatbeds use a straight axel. Normal settings on our...

    Time for a new trailer

I think Wilson's are the best aluminum trailer I've seen but I've worked on a lot of name brand steel trailers and some of the things they chince on baffle me and knowone even cares because they are name-brand. All I was trying to get across is maybe the Fronteir is a great trailer at a great...

Feeding & storing wet or modified distillers

On the blending and packing part I bet the whole pile would spoil no way to get it packed decent. I'd just get it on a as needed basis may cost more money but spoilage will be minimal.

Feeding & storing wet or modified distillers

We used to feed a lot of it now none dry pencils out better. Trucking a lot of water and at the price they charge here wet vs dry its a no brainer. The loads we got in the summer needed to be fed with in a week and that wasn't quick enough spoils very fast. One year we got 42 semi loads in mid...

    Opinions on Make/Model Truck/4 Wheeler

I'd run fast from a v-10 cam broke in mine at 136,000. For my 09 they wanted over $6000 for a used motor. We are nearly done with a Cummins conversion . My v-10 would average 7 mpg but it was quite. I've got an 03 with a 5.4 3/4 ton gets about 12 average pulls a 20 trailer with ease.

    Running numbers

I've got some at 50 cents per pair per day and the latest is a 60 head deal at a $1.00 but its 86 miles away from the corrals or 72 from the house.

    Traveling

on 60 acres I'd throw a hot wire in on the deal that will slow them up on both sides of the fence. I have a friend who has roping cattle longhorns/ Corrientes they are hard on fence from what I've seen my temper couldn't tolerate those cattle.

    Traveling

I like the woven wire idea 42" with 2 barbs you can rest easy knowing that they are staying in. All though a bit more expensive worth it in my opinion along highways nothing sucks worse than an animal getting hit the ramifications could get very costly.

    Sugar Beets for feed

When you start off a post with "WE GOT A BUNCH OF ROTTEN BEETS" what else are we to assume from the guys around here those Herefords should stay fat on a hope and a prayer.

    Sugar Beets for feed

My bet would be if you put rotten feed in storage you'll get rotten feed out sounds like a manure pile to me skipping the cow.

    Soapweed ????

Its getting to be an issue in feedlot cattle also when you push them hard they just tip over dead one day had that happen a couple years back that's what it was figured to be.
