No luck in the hiring department this year Gcreek? Some guys around here claim good luck using Facebook classifieds, but I’m guessing you’ve been down that trail?
Sure sounds like a scam to me. Somebody with more computer savvy than I might know whether or not you should change your passwords but I don‘t think your email account has necessarily been hacked. I wonder if his account is the one that has been hacked.
Good for him! Having wrestled for many years I have a pretty good insight into what it takes to succeed, so I can really admire the effort he must have put in. Nice to see!
Warmest winter to this point that I can recall. I know we will pay, in fact the weather man claims we are about to get some seasonal weather the next week or so, but I’ve enjoyed every day of this balmy winter.
A rare site to see the hills bared off this time of year.
Whenever I see old abandoned farm buildings I always wonder what took place there, and what happened that they ended up abandoned. They always leave me feeling a bit sad.
Perhaps it is because this ranch and the neighbouring ranches have been here for several generations that every quarter or half is still called by the names of the people that originally homesteaded it. The obvious exception would be the land that was originally either homesteaded or "improved...
We had an old neighbour that had the C hanging C brand as a horse brand, and it was placed on the jaw. I thought it was a wonderful looking brand. Years ago I tried to register it as a cattle brand but they would not let me have it.

We were weaning calves today an sold a couple of calves for 4H steers. I just happened to have taken a picture a few days ago of the one calf that was selected today. This particular calf weighed in at 835 lbs and is 210 days old today. The other one lagged behind at 770. Proud rancher moment...
Thanks for the photo update. That little girl is growing up fast.
In a former life I ran a truck mounted National 36 ton very similar to the one you are operating. It was mounted on the truck the other way around though. It was good work.
Leaves are gone now. Daytime highs are down to about +8C (46F). Started raining after we finished preg checking at the neighbours yesterday. We had a wet year but the fall has been nice. Winter will be here any day. Hoping it holds off until after shipping.
'H, you don't need to be of service, you can just wander up here any dang time you like. We can either find something to do, something to hunt, or just sit around and tell each other how clever we are.
