    My neighbor is looking for silage bags for putting round bales in. Seems they are supposed to be airtight, but do not need a special machine for the bag application. Anyone know what they are talking about and where to purchase these? Thanks. †

    Those totes will become brittle and crack if left out in the sun, should cover them up with a UV resistant tarp or put inside when not in use.

    Triangle Bar; Garrison Creeping Meadow Foxtail is correct. It originated in Western Russia, and is a cool season grass. We won't be seeing any Timothy until later in June or early August. Thanks Soapweed for the compliment, You are an inspiration :) bart.

    Texas Creek is flowing pretty good right now. We've been irrigating for the past month. We share our ditch with the ranch to the North, one week on, one week off. Hay is about 4-8" already, it's been a cool start, a little warmth and it should take right off. Keeping you folks to the East...
