Yes, indeed! It was kinda up his alley I suppose....he was a starting wrestler for the university of Iowa, has tried to reach the top of Mt. Everest, played on the Alaskan crab/fishing boats, gave a good run training for the Tour De France to name a few... :D The lack of sleep, cold...

This makes winter calving look easy

Quite the deal!!! My brother raced in the Iditarod a couple years ago. He finished, which I guess is good for your rookie year. He couldn't afford to keep his dogs and race any more. The stories he told of training, smaller races and the actual Iditarod were unreal. I laugh because he is...

"Perseverance: steady persistence in a course of action in spite of difficulties, obstacles, or discouragement." "Some forms of dementia, traumatic brain injury, anxiety and OCD can cause people to perseverate. They repeat words and tasks* or try repeatedly to solve problems, but are left...

It's not good to hold things in. You try to bury it down deep, but it just festers and festers, and builds and builds. Then explodes out expectantly down the road one day at an even more inappropriate time and place....usually involving running through crowded streets with nothing on but...

    Got to love facebook

facebook is the devil... :D Being glued to a phone screen seems to be the norm these days...even at family get togethers, zoo's, everywhere. I'm no saint, but it really saddens me when it seems to be a higher priority to be on it than being a parent to their kids.
