There is a huge fire burning north of Wenatchee, the Mills Canyon Complex, that has affected more than 22,000 acres so far. Lots of smoke, high heat, and only 10% relative humidity. So much for Spring rainfall.
This is interesting because, if I look at the Drought Monitor, it does not show any indication of drought in Montana but for north central Washington it shows short to long term drought; but we actually have had above normal rainfall.
Anyway, I am envious of Denny's hay.
We have had over 24 inches of rain since mid-January. It just doesn't seem to quit for very long and the grass is about 2 feet high. We have some sheep arriving Friday so I hope that they are hungry.
Have any of you horse people had any experience with poly rope electric fencing? And, if you have, would you please share your evaluations of its durability; especially from UV degradation?

BMR, what would you estimate the weight of the sleigh? My wife has a Shetland and some minis that would look sweet pulling a sleigh like yours but I am concerned about the weight.
