What's the weather like at your place?

Raining in the valley and snowing up on the mnt tonight. I am really happy. It’s been such a tough winter and so little moisture. What a welcome sight this evening. Heavy ewes are under the shed and I won’t mind at all going to check tonight. Yipeeee

FW Student with Questions for Cattle Ranchers

I agree with Webfoot wholeheartedly!!!! In Utah, there has been a huge problem with algae in Utah Lake. Lots and lots of folks blame it on high nitrogen levels coming from farm fields around the lake. What makes that argument laughable is the simple fact that the vast majority of real estate...

    Nebraska Sandhill

Bought the DVD. It’s a decent show. But be aware it’s made by completely “Un-Ranching” folks so it could of been better. The cinematography is great but it approaches ranching in a way I wouldn’t of. But I am not the film maker. I enjoyed it but hoped for more. It does make me yearn to visit the...

Biden bribing GA voters in broad daylight

America lost with the next two idiots in the White House and democraps running the asylum in the house and senate. It’s a damn shame people can’t see past their own noses to see the corruption and hypocrisy of the Democratic Party.

Pretty way to end the day

These January days have been cold but dry. The snow we have has about disappeared on the valley floor. As I fed the stock tonight God surely painted a magnificent picture.

Welcome and many thanks for your service to our nation and specifically, my family! Appreciate ya greatly. If Nevada wasn’t in the way, we’d be neighbors. 😁

What's the weather like at your place?

Best of luck to y’all. We woke up to more snow and a balmy 14. After -4 the night before it feels plumb warm. Had three ewes lamb in 24 hrs. And that’s why I’ve spent so much time building good sheds and barns. All are doing great.

    New Year- Here's to Hope

Perspective is an interesting thing. For a lot of folks 2020 has been filled with challenges and trials and strife. My heart goes out to people who have lost jobs or worse, loved ones to covid. What's interesting to me is how our perspective changes depending on where we happen to be looking...

Our cattle have been surviving for 6 generations in the same land. When you see pictures without grass, be sure and thank the BLM and their mismanagement. Thanks to the radical horse organizations too. They Sue every time the BLM attempts to remove any horses. I saw mustangs last week in the...

    Merry Covid Christmas

Littlest H tested positive for covid yesterday. He picked it up at a wrestling tournament. So far he just has head cold type symptoms. And the four of us are in quarantine for the next 7-10 days. We will ride this out and be fine. But it should make for an interesting couple of weeks. Wanted to...
