Got the calves to town before the monsoon hit. We weaned on frozen ground and preg tested in belly deep mud. Calves sold well for the week and the weather. Pays that our neighbor trades a few hundred thousand a year.

A back molar decided it didn’t want to stay with me anymore. Dentist just added another 50 cc of Lidocaine as I could still feel quite plainly after the first go round. Will be happy when we say goodbye to each other. All three of us! Haha

They keep getting smaller, I wonder when we will be paying for the imagination of eating one?

@016 was a challenging one due to a lot of wet weather at hay time in our part of the world but with God's grace we did get a fair amount up. Calf prices down from last year but still paid the bills with a bit left over. Good crew, good neighbors (next door and across the world through the net)...
