    Nightshade in cornstalks

Has anyone that grazes corn stalks ever dealt with black nightshade? A field I am about to go to has it in the field, probably 5-10% of the total forage available. The Toxicology professor at WSU said I should be fine unless an animal takes a liking to the nightshade. Just wondered if any one...

    Baby girl names

My wife and I are expecting our first baby the end of September and found out it is a girl. We are starting to think of names and would like to stay pretty traditional with a western/turn of the century name. We have quite a few picked out like Rosemary, Cora, Grace, Suzanne, Madelynn, etc...

    Sight Un-Seen Bull Purchase

What is everyone's confidence in this and if you have done it, has it worked out for you? Need to find another bull this year and have been looking at a ranch that seems to be respectable. Just unsure about not being able to at least see a picture, and then pictures aren't always the best.

    New Bull

Got my new bull turned out last week. Was getting grouchy, so he got let out a couple days early. Hopefully he will work on my heifers, but is also with a few of my registered cows and first calvers. Everything was AI'd two weeks ago, so hopefully he won't have to much work.

    Two Strikes and You're Out

Last year, I had a 1st calf heifer slip a calf 12 days earlier than her due date. Gave her a chance with a holstein calf that she did a heck of a job raising. Weaned off at 750ish. Well, this morning she did it again before I got out there. She was due on the 10th, so 12 days again. Got her...

    Prayer Help Needed
