you Obama dollars at work..

This shocking footage from Syria shows a young boy of pre-school age being shown how to hold and shoot an assault rifle, before warning ‘infidels’ they are ‘going to be slaughtered’.

The YouTube video shows a boy of around four years old being encouraged to point and fire the high-powered automatic weapon on the streets of the war-torn country.

The youngster, named as Abu Bakr, who says he is from Uzbekistan, is at first shown wearing a balaclava which he later removes.

He fires two shots before he is interviewed by the cameraman. Afterwards, Abu is encouraged to send a message to Muslims to ‘join the operation’ in Syria, before he chillingly adds: ‘You infidels are going to be slaughtered.’

During the demonstration, shouts of ‘Allahu Akbar’ (‘God is great’) are heard in the background.

Counter-terrorism agents said the video was additional proof that fighters in Syria are using young children as troops in the civil war.

The footage has been shown on several news channels across the Middle East, including Al Jazeera.

Teens trained to be ‘killing machines’

Bored at home and eager to join their older brothers and fathers on the frontline against President Bashar Al-Assad’s army, Syrian teenagers are joining the rebel cause, oblivious to international laws prohibiting child combatants.

“When they arrive here, they are children. By the time they leave, they are killing machines,” said Abdel Razzaq, a 38-year-old former army sergeant who trains the boys.

“I train them not to be scared of war and not to hesitate when the time comes to kill,” he said, speaking of his latest group of 20 volunteers, aged 14 to 18.

“There are no more adult men in the villages. Now it’s the children who come for military training,” said Abdel Razzaq.

He teaches his students how to handle a Kalashnikov, or AK-47 assault rifle, the weapon most commonly used by the rebels.

“Children are the best soldiers I know. They obey every command. An adult asks questions and answers back. But the children, they question nothing,” said Abdel Razzaq.

and Obama and Kerry still want to arm them?

Wasn't it just last year that the obama admin. was accusing Iran of shipping weapons to Syria, in violation of UN sanctions, but is now arguing that those sanctions are hindering an agreement on their nuclear program?

The US is mostly likely buying the weapons from Iran, shipping them through Turkey as a bargaining chip, when it comes to Iran's nuclear program.

They aren't even intelligent enough to see that they are being played.

Tears of a Syrian boy soldier: Horror of Kalashnikov-toting child as he sees comrade die

Image shows boy of about ten crying out during fierce battle near Homs

His face a mask of raw shock, a young boy soldier is led away after his friend was killed fighting in Syria.

Wearing jeans, trainers and an Adidas t-shirt, he looks like a primary schoolboy but for a green ammunition vest much too big for his small frame and the AK-47 he clutches in his right hand.

He is one of a rising number of child soldiers – many barely older than ten – recruited by the increasingly desperate rebel Free Syrian Army to fight President Bashar al-Assad’s forces.

In a heart-wrenching video, he catches sight of the body of his friend Ahmad

Moments later, Ahmad was dead, his body carried from the frontline by his brother and comrades – who would die five minutes later.

The boy cries ‘Ahmad’ in his unbroken voice in the video – the first time the reality of children fighting on Syria’s frontline has been so vividly captured.

With Muslim Brotherhood as advisors, do you think obama is smart enough to "Drill, Baby, Drill"

It would take an idiot to say such a thing.

a Kalashnikov ak47

probably more ak's in the world than all other assault rifles combined.

7.62 x39 mm, a true 30 cal.

very dependable weapon, rugged magazine design and fed really good.

I liked the selector better than m16, you went thru full auto to get to semi--30 cal hit a little harder, but you could carry more ammo with m16

Russians used sks's before ak's--gobs of them around here, same cal, a little longer barrel, we were buying cases of ammo and divying them up--scarcer and spendier now, but lots of it ratholed.

If this is a real video - not staged - and I have not seen it myself - then - he will get over it and become an even more efficient killing machine.

Kids are the best at becoming stone cold killers but this is how they have to start out. Even worse in some African countries.

Child soldiers?

In-country - despite the UN definition, there is no such thing - despite the age as compared to western society. They are already considered men in their world - even before they pick up a rifle.

You had one of ours in Guantanamo and sent him home to Canada after capturing him overseas. He will walk free some day in Canada after killing one of your soldiers and the child soldier defense will be used successfully to release him - the legal system vs the justice system will prevail eventually.

In all honesty I am not so sure this one was fighting Assad's boys - the rebels are well into killing each other now as they compete for positions of power - it could have been rebel vs rebel as well despite possible media spin.

Canada has openly admitted there are many Canadian muslims fighting in Syria on the side of various rebel factions - recently a Canadian born citizen from Calgary was either killed or executed by rebels while fighting for yet another rebel faction. I suspect the same from your own country and all the Euro countries.

Life is not the bowl of cherries that many in the west would have you believe.

The firearm is an AK - the variant is not important - it is a very efficient, close up killing machine that packs enough punch to kill you - sometimes - even if it does not penetrate the plates on your armour - the hydrostatic shock makes your inside jelly.

7.62 was the standard round for many years for NATO - the AK throws it out there and it works very well despite having a shorter cartridge.

Interestingly enough you could buy a "spam can" of AK rounds on the street in Kabul for about 20 bucks US when I was in Logar Province - not a bad price for 1000 rounds. I used to buy a few thousand rounds for us and the boys to play with when we got bored.

It is not a great long range weapon but the "spray and pray" method is quite effective when done in large groups.

Four pieces to take apart and clean - you can mix and match and anyone with even a modicum of intelligence can use one after 2 minutes of instruction.

I taught hundreds of Afghan security people how to use them at the Kabul Military Training Complex - commonly called the KMTC.

As for the video?

Yet again the religion of peace at its finest.

Thanks for your post, BC. I always appreciate that you will share your FIRST-HAND knowledge here.

The reality is often different than the perception.

Seems we never fight those with the same quality of life as we in the USA and Canada have, therefore, we are handicapped because of it; and also the
'rules of engagement' put out by politicians that our soldiers are forced to operate under handicap us further.
