The only thing I have against torture is the backlash against any of our, if they are captured or caught.

The actual act of torture, I have no problem with. I say get as good as you give.

In fact, some trials are just a waste of $$$$. You blow up people...then you hold a bomb....BOOM!

Yep, the CIA was doing the torture/waterboarding in secret to gain info towards future terrorism.

Had some Dem Congress person not let the cat out of the bag just to make Bush & Cheney look bad, only the torturer & the torturee would have known. Probably one of those biatches from Calif.

The terrorist do little that is retaliatory. Most is simple uncalled for terrorism against the innocent.

Maybe some who have served in the military would know, but isn't waterboarding a tactic used to train our own people for combat? If that is the case, or even if it has been discontinued, I see nothing wrong with using it to gain information from enemies when such information might well save lives of military people AND civilians.
