“Scissors, Paper, Stone.”

Once again, an Iraqi immigrant has become the victim of racial profiling by authorities at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX)itive. Fidel Al-Miliki was stalled at the airport earlier today when it was discovered his carry-on luggage was not up to snuff. Al-Miliki unsuccessfully attempted to sway officials into believing the rock, wire and gum he was packing in his rectum were merely tokens used in the Iraqi version of the game we familiarly play as “Scissors, Paper, Stone.” Al-Miliki offered in his defense:

Iraqi Man Tests LAX Security with Rock, Wire, Gum in Butt

An Iraqi man tried to pass through security at LAX with a half-inch magnet coiled with wire inserted in his rectum. Authorities said the man appeared to pose no threat, though his green card may have expired.

A preliminary investigation appeared to rule out a theory that Al-Maliki may have been looking for weaknesses in security or was rehearsing for a terrorist act, federal and local law enforcement authorities said.

He was arrested on suspicion of possession of a destructive device, but the sources said charges were dropped; details of the incident were unavailable.

That wasn't enough to constitute a federal offense, FBI spokeswoman Laura Eimiller said.

In some situations, people that would believe it or try to do it are a few fries short of a Happy Meal.

But who is the dullest crayon here..., the Iraqi who tested Lax's lax security, or the FBI who effectively ignored his dangerous actions?
