Now this is surely "Pork". The Government has used over $1M to buy a 2lb Ham (maybe it was the job creation of having someone slice it, that was so expensive). Taxpayer $ at work.

Maybe there's more to the story, like free Mustard.

nope, all this link provides is the funding amount...doesn't say who it's going to, where it's going, what it's going for, nor that the money has been sent and accepted...NOTHING

It was all there last night at Recovery.gov. That's where I copyed and pasted it from.

Looks like I might have to start taking more sceenshots of this kind of stuff.

Seems they disappear soon after they are advertised.

Hypocrite Exposer, this is exactly why we need a little more investigation. It doesn't say how many 2 lb hams there were.

I sure hope the joke isn't on you because of a misrepresentation of the material.

I would like more information and it is up to you to provide it since you made the accusation. If you are right, great, you will be exposing government fraud and then we are off to the next step of who did it and holding them accountable. If not, apologize and think deeper next time.

I am not saying this to minimize what you brought up, just making sure the allegations are real as you characterized them.

Tex, read my original post.

Maybe there's more to the story, like free Mustard

I made a joke of it, but I did acknowledge that there might be more to the story.

Yes, that was my first thought, about the number of hams. I'm sure it will eventually be searched out, and I'll keep looking also.

Apologize for what? if they were silly enough to illustrate their "transparency" with only a portion of the information, then they deserve to made fun of.

Why should hypo have to prove anything when nonothing, bullhauler, oldtimer, alice, fff, reader and even you tex just pass when asked to prove something, spin twist or otherwise?

At least hypo trys to supply links etc,
where as a few just accuse and laugh when asked to back up their accusation, I will admit that you are not as bad as most of the others!!!!

touche'.

I agree with you on the transparency part and it was a good point. Limited information is sometimes no better than no information if you are making arguments with that information.

I missed the point of your joke but I see it now that you pointed it out. These kind of forums lose a lot of information sometimes.

Thanks for providing the additional information.
