Well... I don't use a lot of nitro fertilizer and am than only fertilizing 75 acres of hay barley that they cows have been running on all winter.. don't need any Potash or Phosphate (Especially since we feed that Distillers grain).. Actually thinking of mixing in an annual clover in with my Barley and seeing what happens... need to talk to some folks about it and see what my best route is.. I know Berseem Clover can give you 100 units of N per acre but I don't know if that is if you plow it under or not... I'm thinking that has to include a plow down...

I do have to lime some fields... Not looking forward to that.

Ranchwife,

Holy cow thats a lot of money for one hour. Guess when I grow up I wanna be a cardiologist....

It would be interesting to know what the cardiologist's malpractice insurance costs also. It is driving some docs right out of medicine.

They were huge 15 years ago, I only imagine they are bigger now (Had a budy whose Dad was one. Came and talked at our school once and of course the how much he got paid came up... He ddoged that but mentioned how much his mal practice was).. I guess the anestesia (Wow, that is spelled so wrong) folks have just insane MP insurance.... Than of course there is my brother, the ER doc... Any price insurace for him is a bargain
