Man Jody it looks chilly up your way. Made it down to 14 last night but is sunny and nice today out here. The calves look humped up a little but they still are cute little suckers!

Thank God- most of our snow is gone- and after looking at those pics I won't complain about whats left....
Got to 48 today with a 20 mph wind- and is drying things out pretty good so the calves can find lots of dry ground now...

Note to self.... Don't move to Wyoming or Nebraska. Weather is to harsh for this northerner.

Better add Montana to that list, per.

As for Wyoming, we are originally from Buffalo, and they
haven't had any winter to speak of. Mountains there are way
low on snow. They were 40+ degrees for most of the winter.
That is quite a ways north of WR...

sun shine means cold nights and hard crust yhat you can drive a tract or tem and sleigh on top till almost noon. then the sun relect off from it.
a sunny day then a cloudy night then sun will cut it but it will take a few weeks yet.

We are nearly to the point of driving on top first thing in the morning here.
How much old snow do you have left?

Thanks for the pictures Jody. Your cattle look in great shape. When are your lambs due?

just a couple feet , lamb don't start till the end of April, hopefully we have the gals undressed then

We left ours to May 1st this year also. Hopefully the bovine flood will be ebbed by then. Cows due date is April 3 but I think it will be hot and heavy before then.
