2006 Poll: Dems Wanted Bush To Fail

But it's an abomination when Rush wants Zer0 to fail?

“Regardless of how you voted in the presidential election, would you say you want President Bush to succeed or not?” Democrats said “not,” 51 percent to 40 percent - where the public at large wanted success by almost two to one. [See page 4 of this document for the poll in question.]

In other words, the rage extends way beyond the lip-pierced Deaniacs, aging hippies and other fringes of the Democratic Party. Lots of otherwise sensible people - suburban moms, hospital orderlies, schoolteachers, big-hatted church ladies - detest George W. Bush.

When these Democrats say they want Bush to fail, might this mean that they simply reject what they see as his far-right religious and corporate agenda? If so, it’s hard to see why independents - hardly right-wing zealots - hope he succeeds by 63 percent to 34 percent. Sadly, much of the Democratic Party wants to see this president crash and burn.

No response from the Moonbats yet?

Surely they can come up with an excuse for their actions that doesn't contain the words Phil Gramm or George W?

Not a Dem- and I like many others I know voted for GW-- but by 2006 - and even before, I and a whole lot of those folks that looked, could see GW was driving the wrong way down a one way street toward disaster- not only for his Party, but for the country-- and the Bush Bust proved us right....

Do you not understand how a forum works?

Let me explain.......A topic is introduced by a poster and replies that are pertinent to that topic are posted.

Should you wish to completely abandon that topic and make a statement not related, you should start another thread with the topic of your choice.

Now, how about the hypocrisy of the Dems wanting Bush to fail earlier, and then criticizing Rush for saying the same about Zer0?

We already know how stupid you are.......you don't have to keep affirming it to us.

First off, where does it say anyone wanted bush to fail in this post.....You throw out a random number like 51 %..where did that number come from..One poll done by who?..How was the questioned formed?..what more is said on page 4 that you never posted?.....just cause you put it in bold print does not make it proof....Also the writer him/herself (as you never even quoted them) is not even sure about what it all means....for thier excact words are "might this mean"...This article only shows words that you copied and pasted from who knows where.....It could of been from an email you wrote yourself.....
