2008 Pharo sale. DON'T MISS IT!

The semi-annual Pharo sale will be going on November 10th-11th at Burlington, CO. Please don't write off these cows as too small. They get fat and stay fat on year round brown, dry grass and perform excellently on grain. The heifer I bought at the 2006 sale won the 2007 Grand Champion cow/calf pair at the county level. They are very gentle and always an investment, not a needless expense.

I have some cows bred to Johnny B. Good for this spring, I can't wait.

I'll have to say, you're gonna get some FINE calves outa that boy. He is probably one of the most complete RA in Kit's program. I can certainly say that you got a good investment.

On another opinion if I was people I'd miss it. Don't waste the expensive gas.

Bid online or SUS then. Plus, those cows'll pay back the money you spend on gas to go get them.

myself I do not like Pharo's cattle. and if I did, I would not buy them because I do not like the way he preaches to the common producer on why he is so smart, his is the best, then claims to be so humble.

he rubs me the wrong way. I like the guy I buy bulls from. he flat out tells me what he likes and what he is keeping....so I try to find half brothers.

My opinion is strickly on the cattle i've seen of his. Thumbs down.

Well then maybe I feed mine higher quality brown grass??? Mine have fed out great and been highly discussed at fair as ones that could not possibly be raised out of Kit stuff. Hmmm......

These were fed out at a well respected feed lot in the area.

The cattle are over talked and over praised.

I reckon everyone is entitled to their opinion. Glad to have your take. I shall do my best to breed better ones and change your mind.

Everybody has a different breeding program. If it works for them that's great. We should be happy that we have so many choices that can choose from. Some one once told me that there is no wrong breeding program, just different ones . Kit does make you think. Opinions are like butt holes everybody has one.

Sure. That cow tagged 5108 has a calf with a 205 day adjusted weight of 598 lbs. I think that is perfectly good in a dry year without extra feed. Just my opinion. Anyway, I better quit before I start another war. :)
