what happened to the guy that used to quote polls all the time on here?

The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Tuesday shows that 20% of the nation's voters Strongly Approve of the way that Barack Obama is performing his role as president. Forty-two percent (42%) Strongly Disapprove, giving Obama a Presidential Approval Index rating of -22. That is the president’s lowest rating since September (see trends).

Just 27% believe the bailouts were good for the United States. Fifty-seven percent (57%) believe they were bad.

Consumer confidence reached a two-year high in January but slipped in February. For the first 15 days of March, the daily Rasmussen Consumer Index figures show confidence down from February levels.

Republicans currently enjoy a nine-point advantage on the Generic Congressional Ballot.

Overall, 43% of voters say they at least somewhat approve of the president's performance. Fifty-seven percent (57%) disapprove. Seventy-seven percent (77%) of voters believe that the U.S. system of politics and government is morally superior to communism. Only 11% take the opposite view.

the world seems to be in chaos- you are the President and look at your options:
1: golf anyone
2: basketball
3: another vacation (woops Hawaii is out for now)
4: don't let a good crisis go to waste: (where's Rahm when you need him)
5: phone a friend (woops none left, even ayers isn't taking your calls)
6: bury head in sand and act like it isn't happening! ( lets go with that one)

woops I was wrong, he went with option #4 (no I'm not making this up)

President Barack Obama will take his first official trip to Brazil this weekend where he will speak in the popular Cinelandia Square in downtown Rio de Janeiro. Access, of course, will be tightly restricted and security measures so secretive that not even the Embassy or US Consulate in Rio know exactly how it’s all going to go down. Obama’s speech will be free
