3/31 final saddle pix

JB, thanks for showing your saddle pics. I don't normally care for alot of tooling, especially the basket weave, but the way you did it, and with the colour you made it, well it sure is a pleasure to the eye.

Basket stamping is supposed to make the leather last longer.
 
I've allways heard basket stamping made the leather last longer, so I suppose it's likely true. Although I think a little maintanence is probalbly the biggest single factor in prolonging the life of the leather.

Anyway, since I saw those pictures last night I can't get that saddle out of my mind. I guess I better start saving up!

Shoot, just give me a call. By the time you can save enough to afford it, I'll probably have it done. :oops:

It's funny, some people over oil and some people don't oil enough. I am bad about doing both! :shock: :lol:
