Snow sure can complicate things. We got about six inches of the white stuff the past couple days, but a lot of it melted today. The noon-time temperature topped out at a very welcome 41 degrees. It's pretty sloppy where we are trying to calve, but we're right close to being half done.

HEY, OT....SUPPOSE TO BE LOW 50'S HERE IN THE MADISON!!! OF COURSE, SNOW ON THE WAY FOR THE WEEKEND, BUT WILL CERTAINLY ENJOY "SPRING" WHILE SHE IS HERE!!! :lol:

The "no calves yet" changed during the night...My son found this little feller about 2AM..

Not a very good pic- too sunny-- but he is enjoying the 36 temps and warm sunshine...
An 85 lb bull calf sired by Whitney Creek Bannon 730T- out of a 6807 X 5522 momma...
