My bride and I will have 44 in less than a month. It is almost scary to look back and see how we started those few short years ago! It kinda puts things in perspective when you think things are not going your way :shock:
we have been married 33 years too!! and 1month and 1 week it seems like no time 3 sons and 10 and 3/4 grandkids (#11 due in sept). 4 steps and 6 biological.
We celebrated 56 years last May 26. We no longer have a party every year like we used to.
We are now calving later, so don't brand till after Memorial Day, and it was into the first week of June this year..........and I didn't get to do any of the cooking this year, for the first time ever.
I'm not even sure how often our brandings were on our actual anniversary, but several were.
