40 Days for Life - Praying to stop abortions

As a strong Catholic my wife and I took part in 40 Days for Life this year. My wife more so than I. Please take a look. Below is a true story of a young girl that actually survived an abortion. Here is the link:

I survived a saline abortion

My parents were both 17 and my biological mother decided to have a saline abortion, which burns a baby inside and out. And then she is to deliver a dead baby within 24 hours. So after 18 hours of literally being burned alive in my mother’s womb I was delivered alive. I should be blind and burned and obviously not here because my medical records state on them “born during a saline abortion” so when your father and mother forsake you, the Lord will take you.

Gianna Jessen - Survivor of a saline abortion who is now 17 years old and telling her story.

They will kill a baby, but protect a wolf --or any number of critters listed as endangered! Nowthere is the cancer in this society.

Well then......... why don't ' they' pass the iinsurance reform bill to take care of all these babies ( mostly unwanted babies) AFTER they are born?

Kola, I don't think having insurance is the answer......... It's way deeper than that.........

I'm sure there are couples in the world who would love to have a baby and cannot, what's wrong with adoption? Or is that an alternative not ever considered?

But...it's GOT to be part of it all.

If these unwanted babies come into this world how will they be taken care of because of the mere fact they were unwanted to begin with mean they'll become wards of the state.

The world has to think past mitosis.

Adoption is the answer in my book but I've heard, and I'm sure you have also, so many couple who want ' their own' baby.

I've tried to get many couples to adopt...but instead they spend a war chest on the in vitro, etc with no success and plenty of heartbreak.

But , even with adoption a lot of these babies come into the world with TONS of problems induced from the birth mothers lack of care or drug abuse....those babies need some sort of insurance/program to take care of their specific needs and to ensure their adoptablilty.

It starts with family values...... Christian values...... I'll go one deeper.....
And all that it holds........ We have to bring the church back into our lives and into our communities....We have to teach abstinence. Giving 12 year old birth control without parental consent is not the answer. Premarital sex be unexceptable. And having both parents active in the children's lives.....

Money is not the answer for bad choices......

I agree kola adoption is the answer........ Good for you...........

OK, let's just suppose your premise that the gov isn't there to offer health care for kids.....................................................

........and your answer is to kill em first .................gotcha, I'll try and remember how to solve health care

The above would be wonderful IF....IF...IF it was a perfect world, it's not.

Abortion ,if it's made totally ILLEGAL...you're going to have 12, 13,14 yr olds dying because they tried to get rid of a baby by themselves with an OD or a dirty coathanger!!

People need options.

PT...I was gonna welcome you back with a nice note...but it seems as if you just want to start a fight.

We have an expansive WIC program. In the next county to me, kids get everything they need......food, diapers. health care, everything FREE for the first 3 years of their life. Mothers get taken care of too.

At some point in time parents have to take responsibility for their actions.

If we keep giving and giving, where does it end? Before you know it, everyone will be at the government feed trough.

Being that this situation is in my own home and as cruel as this sounds there is no amount of money in the world that would make me adopt a FAS of a Crack baby. That is the problem with alot of the babies up for adoption and it will always continue because promiscuity is usually linked with drugs and alcohol.

And for those of you that do adopt and care for these children, bless your hearts.

Until our countrys realise a fetus is a human being we cannot do anything about these mothers that endanger thier 'Childs" lives by taking drugs and alcohol.I personally think these mothers should be jailed for endangering the babys health, but like I said our countrys support abortion not adoption. :?

I truly don't believe its about free choice....what choice does this tiny being have :(

True but I read recently that unwanted pregnacy and abortion rates are down dramatically in Alberta.

This is almost impossible to regulate all you can do is educate people and hopefully they will take the right path.
Then there is the other side of the coin what is with these families that can't feed and clothe one child but they have ten then eleven.I think they are more of a burden than unwanted pregnancies  :? .

We have a saying about those who procreate like rabbits but I won't share it here  .
