I went up to work several loads of calves this morning...They told me that they would have them corralled, worked and sorted by 10AM...Since I usually try to get there an hour or so early to help work them (get a better look at all the cattle)- I was there by 9.... Thats when I learned that while several loads were going to local feedlots-- one was going to Minnesota-- and when they contacted the trucker earlier that morning he had ended up in BOZEMAN-- only 400 miles away
I loaded up the local ones- and got out of there at 2PM-and got the paperwork lined up for the Minnesota cattle- but understand the truck didn't make it until 4PM- so never found out yet what the story was of how a truck headed to northeast Montana, can end up closer to Idaho .....
