Back to where Dis stated that George W. Bush never worked a day in
his life...that's DEAD WRONG.

One of the things that is mandatory in the Bush family is that everyone
holds a job BEFORE they run for political office.

And G.W. B. worked summers in high school, too. On a ranch for one; worked in a Sears store for another; and worked with disadvantaged boys for another. Oh yes, there is one more summer job that doesn't come to mind right at this moment.

Another SPIN...from Dis.

Let's have a link showing Bush showing up for work, sober, at a Sears store. And working at a ranch, since he's afraid of horses.

Well, I have to get the book back because I loaned it out. You'll just
have to wait a bit.

Why do you think one can't work on a ranch and be afraid of horses.
You sure are narrow-minded.
Lots of ranchers don't even OWN a horse.
Silly girl.

You sure know a lot of personal things about GWB.
I'm convinced more than ever that you need help.
You are obsessed with him. And being obsessed isn't too far from
being POSESSED!

You're going to use GWB's own book as proof he worked at a Sears store? Get real. The man is a liar. Time and time again he's lied, wire taps requiring search warrants, Iraq was trying to buy yellowcake, no one thought the levees in New Orleans would fail, private accounts would "fix" social security...... Why would you expect me to believe something he put in a book? You're going to have to come up with something besides his book!

Who said it was his book?

It seems that you mentioned in the past you had read his autobiography and were very impressed. You could put the title out here; many books have excerpts online. Or I might be able to get it at my public library. I do have a card.

FH..............I'll bet it's a green card

You wish. I know you're having a problem realizing that more Americans agree with me than you. But it is a fact that more than half of us say Iraq was a mistake, more than half think Mexicans here illegally should be given a path to citizenship, only about one in three think our country is headed in the right direction, and that same small group of one in three thinks GW Bush is doing a good job as president. There's a growing number who say he's the worst president - ever!

There is already a path to citizenship! I figured such a knowledgable person like yourself already knew that.

 Not under the bill the House has passed. Anyone here illegally would have to go back to Mexico before they could apply for citizenship. That's not the plan George W. Bush supports, though. :D

Just so Bill and Hill don't fight over her

I think you may be right...I've often wondered if Chelsea only exists to satisfy the 3.14 average US family size for the political correctness involved :???: .....

Bill did too....wonder if Hillary will ask Monica to intern????

Monica is not a very attractive gal, but if I woke up to Hillary every morning.....yes I think Monica would be a bit more appealing

this is all in vain, Hillary ain't gonna win. we need a woman President like we need another Dis on this web board.

elect a woman and this country is in real trouble. Call me a male schauvanist, but I am a firm believer in a womans place, it is at her husbands side, not out trying to be the led pony.

Hillary needs to be put back in her place!

A little wary about posting this but....the UK in 1979 was an economic mess. A leader was elected who decided that difficult and unpopular laws had to be implemented. She didn't shirk. Her goal was the turnaround of the economy for the good of the majority of the British public. She cut back on crippling welfare payments, re-organised labour laws, encouraged entrepreneurs and free market (Keynsian) enterprise. She stood firm in the face of withering opposition. The poorman of Europe was turned into one of the leading economies in Europe. Yes it was hard, but the UK is still enjoying the benefits of her strength. Margret Thatcher.
Please don't be afaid to elect a lady president. Women are not weak.
Don't let your prejudices get in the way of the right choice.
I'm not saying Mrs Clinton is the right choice. It's your election. The right person for the job....either sex.
regards
