Nice website. I like them teaching the kids to cut those tail heads down. I hate seeing those steer jock fit jobs that have a rudder sticking in the air for the tail head. Fitted cattle should look as natural as possible.

Love that one site, OD/NT...............made a copy of the Create A Winner booklet for Al........since this is our first time at the fair with a bovine......

Great booklet! Thanks for the heads-up!

Ranchy do you know to use bluing in your wash bucket water to make the white calf look whiter? I remember you mentioned trying to keep her clean.

Tillie in blue............that should get some attention at the fair!

Nope, never heard of using blueing or Woolite either one on a white bovine. I know a lot of the sheep kids use Woolite on their lambs, but it makes sense, since their hides grow wool........ :?

I was thinking more along the lines of baby shampoo, in case he gets it in her eyes, it might be easier on her than the Just For Blondes I was thinking about earlier.......

He does have some blue shampoo left from his blue-butt pig he had last year, thought we might try some of that on the stained places......but it was just a thought, too.

Thanks for the input, Robin & Lilly!
