4H Calves

We weaned the calves off of the few spring calvers (born in March) we have on Wednesday. Here are the pics of the three steers and one heifer.
The sire of all of them is out of a 1/2 Gelbvieh, 1/2 Angus cow and Einstein (pure Gelbvieh).

Sw and Hanta's steer. The dam is 1/2 Shorthorn, 1/2 Gelbvieh.

This steer is mine, I like him the best out of all of them. The dam is probably Angus/Simmental, my brother got her from the 4H Heifer Award Program, so we're not sure of her bloodlines.

My favorite again.

My little heifer. Her dam is pure Gelbvieh.

The last steer. The dam is 1/2 Angus, 1/2 Hereford (( )) I won her through the same program that my brother won the other cow from.

Which steer do you like best? I have to have one chosen by January 1st. Your opinions are appreciated and will be used to help me chose lol

Any of them should work out just fine if you have a good time doing it. I'd probably take the baldy steer since theres always something about a good fed, cleaned up BWF calf!

MY wife was sitting in here when I opene dthis post last night and commented on how square the steers were as in they squared off nicely in thef ront and back.. I can't help but notice the muscle exteneding down their legs.. Pretty nice... I think I would go with the Baldy or your favorite MCG... Last night my thoughs were 77 but this morning, wearing glasses instead of contacts, I am liking the BWF a bit more..

SO I guess I could expect all my sters to look like that BWF if I put a black 3/4 gelbvieh acrros my Angus X Herford cows eh?

go out and take pictures of them from behind and post them, then see what is said about them. BTW, 721 is thicker and will have shorthorn hair, but all three of them will work. You should weight them, bet that 721 weighs the most. Also, did I send you the bill for pregging your cows and the vaccine and the pour? I'll get that to you right away
