4H Exchange Trips "RULE"

As 4H Leaders you may want to look in to 4H Exchange Trips

Leaders or Members contact Clubs in other areas and work out the "Exchange Trip".
Many 4H Clubs start with inState Exchanges and work-up to National Exchanges. I think 4H International has a list of Clubs doing ET's - I hear that some ET's have been Overseas.

Small World
My first ET was to Steamboat Springs Co. At my Hoasts family outing a Uncle, hearing my Last Name questioned me. When he was at Fort Ord in Calif. he Lived and Rodeoed on Week-ends with my dad in the 60's - - from that point on my money was no-good - - I was 13 and my Host Family moved… I've lost contact with them :(

Example:
One year (a Number) of your Club's/County Member go to their area for a Week (?) and live with Family's in their area.

That year, or the next, they come to stay wirh your members for tthe same amount of time.

My Best Friend is an 4Her I met on my Exchange Trips to Maryland - she has been here Twice and I have been there Three times - she's coming here this summer.

I will be the "Maid of Honor" this summer, in Florida, for my 4H Friend I met on an ET there.

Leader/Leaders go along to Chapeon

We did Fundraisors to pay for the trips that did not cost us much

Back in my 4-H days, some of us Seniors from the Dairy Club did an exchange trip with our Maple Leaf Neighbors in New Brunswick.
