My horseshoer called today and was making his rounds and could reset my horses, which made me immediatley wonder if he'd been kicked a few too many times since the temp was 103   ...
Any way he showed up and had a couple gals with him... One is his girlfriend from Holland that he had met at farriers school...Five foot tall- can't weigh 100 lbs- blonde hair and a halter top-- and she can flat shoe a horse...The other gal was a friend of hers from Holland who had only been in the country about a week.....Nice folks....
Took them about 3 hours to do the 3 horses I needed done..Temp was 101 when they started and 96 when they finished- and they still had a couple more horses to do at another place...Gonna be tied up shoeing horses all day tomorrow in Plentywood area- yesterday was in Glendive- then needs to come back down here on Sat because he has more down here...Thats flat earning your pay at this temp.....
