medicare has been public since 1965 and is in serious trouble
why aren't the politicians reorganizing medicare involving $50 trillion instead of a formal public option involving $2 trillion?
i can understand why the democrats don't get it, but why don't the republicans bring it up as the primary fighting point since they will be overruled anyway?
this is like trying to put a bandaid on a gunshot wound
