60% chance of snow in the TX Hill Country today

Help Support Ranchers.net:

Well you better have your sled polished up and ready to go because it sounds like you won't get too long to play in the snow down there!

Weather sure has been strange last few years, almost spring like around here all week, then snow then back to spring, had a string of warm days and we actually started greening up.
Im betting we have an early spring, moisture is another issue Im still hesitant to buy that high dollar seed and fertilizer.
good luck

Pretty strange here also. Late last week I saw a flock of tundra swans heading north. Methinks they are jumping the gun a bit. A few reports of robins being spotted as well.

But we got about 6" of snow again so at least the ground is covered.

Seeing those geese fly North is a sure sign of spring around here, and allways a treat to see them in those long "V" s making that long trip honkin back and forth to each other, they say the bird making the point is always an old hen :D :D
good luck

There were a few pussy willows out on Thursday. Debbie is thinking they will freeze their buds off before spring gets here.

Wet snow yesterday and today, it hasn't amounted to much.

wet snow on top of the couple feet we got, melted that hard crust so broke a road to a new stack yard today... had to dig theu a couple driffs and a couple swells.
