A bump in Obama's Rating

With all the talk about Obama's AZ Memorial Service speech, and how it was a great kick off to the 2012 campaign season, I would have thought that his bump in job approval rating would have been a bit larger and longer lasting. :?

On the day of the speech his rating was according to Rasmussen 48% approve and 51% disapproval,
the day after the Memorial Service turned pep rally, it was 49% approval and 50% disapproval
and just three days later, his rating is 44% approval and 55% disapproval. I guess it either wasn't as earth shaking as the pundits would have everyone believe OR the voters are starting to see through him and realize a well written and executed speech does not change the man reading it from the teleprompter.

maybe the reality is few watched the speech.. but most heard about the clapping and cheering at a memorial service and it didn't sit right with them..

sure is hard to follow a politician who tried to benefit from a child's death...
