It never got below one below and we had a blow drying wind all day. If I had taken a pic the other direction it was still white up the ridge. I like warm wet snow because it leaves so quick. She is a very nice dog and the cows generally like her as well.

funny thing per , we live only about 3/4 to an hour east of you all we got was rain , but it was a dam cold rain .
There isn't much difference between warm snow and cold rain. Do you have adequate moisture?

Nice lil calf! And I sure like your Great Pyr. Brought back memories of the one we had up until a few years ago. She was a good natured dog for the most part but sure a stubborn one when she took the notion.

no complaining here , it's taking me 3 years to get some fertilizer on that dry land , it was kinda nice thought , we were thinking that we would have a few more calves to treat but nope , it sure is nice to have a start on the year , sounds like most everyone is getting something this year , I hope everyone has a good year ,we all need it .

I like your photography as well as your subjects! Fqcing the sun gave a bright outline of the calf, dog and cow and it made a nice picture as it went down behind the windbreak. Thanks Per. I like your experimenting with "Lucky Old Sun!"
