A couple Red Angus bulls

BRG

Here are a couple bulls we raised. We sold 1/2 interest in the first bull and have used him pretty hard the last few years. The second bull was sold as a yearling to my brother and now we will most likely flush a cow or 2 to him, maybe AI some heifers to him next summer. They are both out of the same cow. What do you think?

Roy just finished filling the woodshed so you should have been here to get started on the Swamp Land Slimming Program. :D

I'm safe then. I'm neither.... :lol2: :lol2: :lol2:

You're female, not sure if any of the fairer gender is safe with Roy. :D

Didn't mean to steal your thread Bryan, if it's any consolation, Roy has red hair also.

I'm sorry too, Bryan. But if you ever meet Roy, you'll understand. :p

(on a serious note, greeck and Debbie are really good to Roy...he's
a 'fixture' around there and he appreciates them, you can tell.)

Beautiful animals indeed. If their heads getting any smaller they're going to look like one of those critters in the movie Men In Black.

BRG, you know dang well those bulls look good. The Widespread bull is particularly my kind. Long-sided and very nicely patterned. Meat and potatoes type cattle with some apparent growth attributes. Excellent. Thanks for sharing.

They look good Bryan-- I especially like LMG Gills Addiction :)

Both bulls are very nice, and I would likely have picked the top bull. With the purpose of learning (I always appreciate hearing other's opinions and knowledge), can you explain why you like the LMG Gills bull better.

Thanks

It could all be in the picture but to me he has a straighter back- better tailhead- and looks to be thicker/more capacity...And again- it could be just the picture but I like LMG Gills muscle expression better....Could be just the way the lighting is...
But saying that- the other bull (if he was black) is not one a guy would chase out of his pasture if he came over for a visit  :p
The top one does look a little heavier boned...
