Till bow season!!!! I cant hunt in the morning cause i have school. I have stands set up in feeding areas and well traveled trails. Given the oppertunity of no wind, and I dont have a grunt tube now (since the incident) how do i hunt them?

Thanks and good luck!

Geez man people did kill deer before grunt tubes-just spend some time in your stands-if you placed them right the deer will come. Don't hunt them if the wind is wrong-if those old does ever bust you you'll have trouble getting one into bow range. They might not kknow exactly what's wrong but they'll hang off a bit. Make sure you wait till the deer leave or it's pitch dark before you leave it to. As for grunting if you need to stop a buck to get a shot just mouth grunt. Ty's got about a dozen stands or more-some never get hunted unless conditions are just right for that spot. If it's real windy get out on foot and stillhunt it's lots of fun and you just might get lucky.

Can't Ranchy... I need all the deer jerky I can get... let's see... 1 mulie tag, 1 either or whitetail tag, and a doe tag, a cow elk, and a bull elk, and a bull moose tag... sounds like it should last the winter. lol

NR-I like my grunt tubes... Im pretty faithful with them since I got grandpa onto hius last (hopefully not last last, but last years) buck... 5x6 with a droptine... at 35 yards. He dropped it with his rifle. I kinda wanna call them in, for fun, bu tIm on getting the palns worked out. The does are the most fun... they are always the first to spoil a stalk. lol.
