Nice pics. It never does harm to just hang out with the cows and let them become accustomed to humans. Way too many people see their cows and calves twice a year, then wonder why they are skittish of people.

Thanks, Mike. It sure does help in keeping them gentle to just mingle with them once in awhile. Then during a cold snowy night when a cow has to go in the barn to calve, they are a lot easier to get along with.

Nice looking calves Soap. Your country looks good! I thought you were supposed to wear your sandals and a "thong" when you went to the beach? :)

I think they might be the biggest ones I have seen so far.
Good job!

Don't forget, we calve in the dead of winter when everyone else can hunker up by the fire instead of going out in the bitter cold to check cows. The calves that survive and don't end up frozen to the ground should have enough age advantage to put on a few extra pounds. :wink: :)
