A few calves

A bunch came in from the range yesterday and I had the camera along. I thought the calves looked pretty good in spite of the exercise the wolves gave them this summer.

We have them sold privately for Oct. 30 delivery.

I doubt the yellow cow weighs 950 lbs. There is some Longhorn in her. We bought her from a friend in 2003 as a 450 lb, 2 year old retired roping practice. She calved unassisted about 2 months later and has never missed a year since. I believe she is likely the most efficient cow we've owned.

Bull calf not included!

Your cows have done a great job, once again. I hope the weather holds, and your calves continue to gain and stay healthy until they get on the truck!

Howdy gcreekrch!

Back at home and all is well.

Sorry things did not work out this past summer.

Great pics - miss that country in a big way.

Be safe

Glad you're safe and hope you aren't getting in the Mrs. way too much now that you're home. :D

As far as the visit goes, there is always a next time.

Thanks for the comments. I'll take the camera with me tomorrow and get a few photos of some scrubs. We've got some of them too.
